I can't express these words enough
to describe that MoBay New Year's Traditional Soul Food
meal that I ate there on Saturday night! My goodness!!! It
was the most outrageous, tongue popping, scrumptious,
finger lickin', toe tappin', leg jigglin', tickle your
innards meal that I've ever tasted
since my grandmother passed away in
the 70's. Wow! She's the only one I knew who cooked like
that to make your toes curl. Now that's what I'm talking
about when you say, "Traditional Soul Food Special
Dinner." Man! the food was seasoned to a
"tee" and cooked to "melt in your
mouth" perfection; the barbecue pig-feet were
masterfully cut, cooked and seasoned beyond
perfection..."it took awhile before releasing the
bones from my mouth for sucking on the juice from
them." (smile ) I'm still smiling & licking
my chops! And...those greens! Just perfect!!! I just
wanted you to know how much I enjoyed that meal! Man oh
Man!
Then, after bringing home the
food your wife gave me, I didn't know what I had until I
opened my bag! WOW, WOW, WEE!!! It was enough for
everyone in the family to get a taste. And, do you
know the phrase that they say when something is so good,
"makes you wanna smack your mama" good?
Well, let me tell you, after my mother tasted
the Barbecue Foots, she wanted to smack ME for not
bringing more home!!! HA, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Joe, everyone in the family just
loved how great it all tasted. I can't thank you, your
lovely wife, mother-in-law, chiefs, and everyone else who
had their foot in the pots. Coming from a southern Florida
gal, I am very much appreciative of your kind southern
hospitality. My compliments to you all! AND, if that's
just a once in a year thing on the menu, I strongly
suggest that you put it on the menu permanently. Wow,
what a meal! And, of course, I will be a fan for life.
Thanks again and again! You really
started my New Year off on the Good Foot!
Sincerely,
Madame Pat Tandy
